Lounge Space in the Caribbean

We designed this balcony for a house in the Caribbean. Because it’s on the second story and gets alot of sun during the day, we designed a portico with a roof over half the space to create a shady area. To outfit this outdoor room, we also designed comfortable and substantial furniture for serious relaxation, working with local woodworkers and grass weavers.
